Obiettivi formativi

The objectives of this course are to verify whether the risk factors of etero-aggressive behavior in psychiatric patients, highlighted in the International Literature, are really present in clinical practice; also it will provided clinical tools for the management of aggressive behavior in psychiatric patients.

Oggetto:

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi

Develop the comprehension of the methods of valuation about “static” risk factors and “dynamic” risk factors about aggressive behavior in psychiatric patients, also with the aid of rating scale. Develop relationship skills in clinical intervention and prevention (both individual and équipe) of aggressive behavior in psychiatric patients.

Students must attend, at least, 75% of the hours of the practical lab. For the final assignment, the students will have to submit a 3 to 5 pages report on the topic discussed during the lab. The overall evaluation of the workshop will make using the criteria of the Dublin descriptors (Knowledge and understanding, knowledge and understanding applied; Making judgments; Communication skills; Ability to learn).
